Wanna know why I love sharing my blog post with you so much? Goal-making and planning is one of my passions. It keeps me going and keeps me inspired. Sharing these goals with you keeps me more accountable than ever before, and all I can say is that it won’t be ending anytime soon.
– April Goals Revisited –
/ Make a post for each category this month – I completed half of this goal. I lost all motivation to write while I was sick, but I have a long list of ideas for blog posts to shoot your way this month, so get pumped!
/ Redesign – Check! I still need to make some more improvements, but I love the setup a whole lot more than before. What do you, lovelies, think? Please comment below your opinions.
/ Online Class – Welp, I was late for one assignment, but other than that I have somewhat found motivation. TWO MORE WEEKS, people. I can do this.
/ Fill out five more scholarships – Uh… I revised my budget and financial planning. That has to count for something, right?
/ Try morning smoothies – I did try them, and then my blender broke. I’m convinced these kinds of things only happen to me. (Don’t worry. I’m laughing on the inside.)
/ Stay off the phone – Around people, this goal was easy. It was the late nights that made this new habit hard. I did complete a “Following Cleanse” where I unfollowed a bunch of people who was unhealthy for me to see their feed, so I don’t think my late night scrolling did much damage.
/ Read – I finished Bittersweet and it was WONDERFUL! I feel like Shauna fed me so much advice to make it through my adult years from her experiences. Now, I have a whole stack of books to start reading from the library and my own bookshelf.
/ Start a Bible reading plan – I finally found a Bible reading plan that isn’t too much but still makes me exciting to dive into the Word! I found it here: http://www.wholemagazine.org/scripture-writing-plans/ if you would like to check it out.
/ Journal daily – I’m finally in the habit of journaling every night, and it feels so great to spill out all my thoughts into writing.
/ Prayer life – My prayer life still isn’t where I want it to be, but that is why I declared 2016 a year of my prayer journey.
/ Find the perfect foundation and face primer combo – The amount of trips I have made to Ulta in the past month is embarrassing, but I think I finally found a combo I love. Don’t hate me, but I’m keeping it a secret for my next beauty post, so be sure to keep your eyes out for it!
/ Minimize pores. – If you haven’t already checked out my post on my favorite products I have been using, you need to stop what you are doing and click on this link to read about these finds!
– June Goals –
// Bring you 2 posts each week. – I am tired of keeping all my post ideas in my head. It’s time for my thoughts to hit paper…or in this case – WordPress.
// Read – The amount of books that I have requested at the library and the ones my friends and coworkers have given me will last me about 5 years, so I think I’m set on books. My goal this month is to finish three books. One about faith, one chick flick, and one blog-related book.
// Morning Routine – The past month, I have started creating a morning routine, but I want to really put it into practice this month. Waking up earlier and all.
// Bible Reading Plan – I want to be certain that I am sticking to my plan EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. It would be even better if I could start my day off with Scripture reading.
// Waxing – Yeah, I realize. It seems like there is always an embarrassing goal in this section, but I’m warning you now, it probably will never stop. This month, I am going to start waxing because my hair is dark, thick, and just plain annoying. If you know anything about me, you know my extreme hatred for excess hair anywhere on my body. Well, I’ve had enough of it, and it’s leaving this month. I’ll let you know my thoughts on the matter in my next monthly goals post. (Prayers appreciated.)
// Workout Schedule – I do have a workout schedule already made, but it’s sticking to it, expanding it, and adding my new favorite techniques to it that I have put off. The laziness is ending now.
This month’s list of goals is shorter than usual, but truth is – I’m trying to simplify my life. Take out everything that is unnecessary and not of interest to me, and create a life that I love. Currently, I’m loving every part of my life, and I wouldn’t change anything for the world. I’m very blessed to be content where I am, and I thank God for that everyday.
So, what are some of your goals? Share them below in the comments or feel free to share a link to your own blog post! I can’t wait to hear about them! I love being inspired by other people’s life goals. Happy planning, ladies!
